It's En-chi-lada Time!!!

Hola mi familia,

Tis the day after Thanksgeeeving,

And all through the casa,

Our stomach's are growling,

They are saying "Que Pasa?"

We ate turkey and pies and some dressing, si si,

But where are the tostadas and enchaladas por me?

No problamos mi amigo,

Fiesta time is near,

It's the Chapman Enchilada Party,

That happens each year.

November 26th at 5:30, don't siesta,

La Mesa 20th ward is the site of the feast.

We need help at 3:30 to get ready for fun,

So come by car, or burro or you can just run.

Wear blanco, or negro or rojo por favor,

A new family picture we hope to restore.

Call Tia Elaine, Pat and Colleen for preguntas and questions,

And Uncle Steve if you need a few Spanish lessons.

Bring a costume for your ninos (they might get some candy),

We need a Mary, a Joseph and some shepard's mas grande,

So come to our fiesta,

We hope you'll have fun,

We promise the best enchilada's,

En la Valley of the Sun!!!!

Adios!!!

I didn't know that being a poet could be genetic :) It was fun. I was hoping to see your new familia Christmas picture portrait.
